Your journey begins at 8:00 AM with a comfortable pick-up from your accommodation in Fes. Travel north in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle while enjoying the breathtaking landscapes of the Rif Mountains and the green hills surrounding Ouezzane.
Along the way, we make short stops so you can stretch your legs, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and capture beautiful photos of the countryside.
Nestled in the heart of the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen—locally known as Chaouen—was founded in the 15th centuryas a fortified town. The city is famous for its charming blue-washed streets, traditional handicrafts, wool garments, and delicious locally produced goat cheese.
Before entering the town, we stop at a panoramic viewpoint offering spectacular views over the blue city—perfect for unforgettable photos.
Arrival is around 12:00 PM, followed by four hours of free time to explore at your own pace.
Stroll through the enchanting medina and admire its Arab-Andalusian architecture, colorful alleys, and vibrant artisan shops.
Visit Plaza Uta El Hammam, the lively main square surrounded by cafés and restaurants. Here you can see the historic Kasbah of Chefchaouen and the Grand Mosque of Chefchaouen, known for its distinctive octagonal minaret.
You may also visit the Kasbah Museum or the Ethnographic Museum, where traditional musical instruments, antique weapons, and historical photographs tell the story of the region.
Continue to Ras El Maa Waterfall, a peaceful spot where fresh mountain water flows beside the medina.
