Your 3-day desert tour begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or riad in Fes by your private driver from Morocco Trip Event Services.
We start the journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains with a first stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its European-style architecture and clean surroundings.

Next, we continue to Azrou to visit the famous cedar forest, where you will have the chance to see the wild Barbary monkeys in their natural habitat and enjoy a short walk in this beautiful natural area.

After that, we head to Midelt, a town known for its mineral products and peaceful atmosphere, where you will have a relaxing lunch break before continuing the journey south.

By late afternoon, you will arrive in Merzouga, where your Sahara experience begins. You will meet your camel caravan and enjoy a memorable camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi while watching a breathtaking sunset over the desert.

After a lunch break near the gorge, we continue through the breathtaking Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations, scenic mountain roads, and picturesque desert landscapes.

After breakfast at your hotel in Dades Valley, we begin the final day of your journey towards Marrakech, passing through some of Morocco’s most iconic cinematic and cultural landscapes.

Our first stop is Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you will visit the historic Kasbah of Taourirt, a fascinating example of traditional southern Moroccan architecture. We will also stop at the famous Atlas Film Studios, the largest and most renowned film studios in Africa, where many international movies and series have been produced.

We then continue to the legendary Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous kasbahs in Morocco. You will have time to explore the ancient fortified village, walk through its traditional alleys, and enjoy panoramic views from the top. This iconic location has been featured in many famous films and series such as Gladiator, Babel, and Lawrence of Arabia.

After a lunch break near Ait Benhaddou, the journey continues عبر the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass with multiple panoramic stops for photos along the way.
